2020 was interesting to say the least. We started off with an amazing trip to Egypt in January and we were lucky to squeeze in a trip to San Diego in early March right before COVID-19 shutdowns began. Things quickly went downhill from there. With flying out of the question, we canceled a trip to Napa with a drive down Highway 1 from San Francisco to Los Angeles and a road trip of Ireland. Instead, spent a weekend in Lake George, New York. We also took a road trip to South Dakota with stops at Fallingwater and Niagara Falls. At the end of the summer, we spent a few relaxing days on Nantucket. Finally, we road-tripped through Vermont admiring the fall foliage in October.

On a personal note, my husband and I are expecting our first child in early February. That’s the one good thing to come out of 2020! While travel will likely take the back burner for a bit, don’t worry, we’ll still keep earning points and miles in the meantime! In 2021, expect to see details of our trip to Egypt (I know…I’m behind). I’ll likely switch gears to focus more on earning points and miles after I catch up on these travel pots.

Here’s a recap of 2020 in terms of credit cards, travel, and points/miles. Comment below with your favorite redemptions and churning wins from 2020!
