On our way back from Orlando after our Hilton Grand Vacations timeshare presentation, we stopped at the Club at MCO. There are two Club at MCO locations. The one in Terminal A is open from 5:00am to 11:00pm. The other, located in Terminal B, is open from 6:00am to 9:00pm. We were at the airport at 5:45am so I was glad we were flying out of Terminal A! Here’s my review of the Club at MCO located in Terminal A at Orlando International Airport.
Since we were there so early in the morning, the lounge wasn’t crowded at all. Earlier that week, I was turned away from the Lounge at Logan International Airport due to overcrowding!
The lounge was clean with a good amount of seating. We chose a spot with a table and made a beeline for the food.
As expected with most U.S. lounges, the breakfast selection wasn’t huge. There was a yogurt bar which provided a good healthy option.
They also had one of those pancake machines, so at least there was one “hot” option. Other options included snack bars, danishes, cold cereal, oatmeal, toast, and hard-boiled eggs.
Last but not least, there was a fancy coffee machine that could make lattes and cappuccinos. It was kind of confusing, but the staff was very attentive and made sure to help those who struggled with the coffee machine (aka me)!
The bar wasn’t in use given that it was before 6:00am, but it looked like there was a decent selection. There were some snack options like trail mix, pretzels, and fruit set out on the bar.
Near the bar and food area was a long conference room table with a computer and printer. I’m assuming this was their version of a business center. However, I don’t think this was the best place for it due to the lack of privacy. I’m sure it can get pretty loud over by the bar when the lounge is busier.
The lounge also had private bathrooms including one with a shower. The bathroom was clean and very spacious.
The shower was reminiscent of a gym locker room, but it’s better than nothing.
Final Thoughts
We enjoyed our trip to the Club at MCO in Terminal A. There was plenty of space, though it was quite early so I’m not sure how crowded it gets later in the day. The food options weren’t the best, but it was plenty to tide us over before our flight. Overall, this was a pretty typical Priority Pass lounge, nothing too special but no complaints.
