I applied for the Barclays AAdvantage Aviator Business Mastercard back in August when the sign-up bonus was 75,000 miles. I applied on August 12th and expected that the application would go pending as that’s typical for Barclays. However, I wasn’t sure what to make of this message:

I was mainly concerned about the following:
We’re processing your application and need additional information from you. In onder to make this process as seamless as possible, we’ll try to contact you at any of the phone numbers you provided in your application.
What information did they need? When would they be calling?
I decided to sit and wait rather than proactively calling to get the card approved. I frequently checked Barclays business card application status page, and it said the decision could take up to 10 business days. After 18 days from the application date, I got a notification that my credit was pulled. Later that day, I got an email that the card was approved.

Final Thoughts
I didn’t end up needing to provide any additional information to Barclays to get approved for the AAdvantage Aviator Business Card. If you get the same pending screen and you don’t need the card immediately, I recommend sitting back and waiting *hopefully* for an approval.
